What this site keeps

Dossier is a fictional character creation tool published by Upcott Studios.

Website: upcottstudios.com. Enquiries: [email protected].

Dossiers are saved in this browser only, on your device. They are not sent to Upcott Studios, and they are not tied to an account — there is no sign-in.

If you clear this site’s data, switch browsers, or use another device, those characters will not be there. We cannot restore them.

The home page shows a small visit count at the very bottom. A visit is recorded once per browser session. We store a running total, not your name, email, or the contents of any dossier.

The shop links to books on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. Those links use affiliate tags (upcottstudios-20 on Amazon.com, and stewartferris-21 on Amazon.co.uk). If you buy through them, Upcott Studios may earn a commission. The price you pay is not increased.

Amazon’s own privacy policy applies once you leave this site. We do not receive your Amazon account details or a list of what you buy.

This site may show advertising through Google AdSense. The ads.txt file at the site root authorises Google (publisher pub-4446639715209525) to sell that inventory. If ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies to measure and personalise them.

You can review Google’s privacy policy and ad settings.

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Requesting those files can send your IP address to Google.

Share icons open X, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or your email app only when you choose them. Those services then apply their own policies. We do not post on your behalf.

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not sell personal information. The site is not directed at children.

Clear this site’s stored data in your browser to remove characters and the flag that remembers this session’s visit. Use your browser or Google’s tools to limit cookies from advertising and fonts.

If this notice changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
